Online Escape Room
Escape Rooms are live adventure experiences: themed environments hiding clues and riddles which must be solved in a given limited time.
For instance, you could be the last keeper of the Templar’s secret, and only have 60 minutes to explore a museum hall to find the Holy Grail and bring it to a secure place.
Playing an Escape Room is a stimulating experience, involving intuition, logic, osbervation skills and, primarily, collaboration and teamwork.
The COVID emergency has made us all #stayathome, but it also teached us how to be #closeatadistance..
An Online Escape Room puts all of these elements together: by giving up on physical involvment it allows us to join a team of friends and relatives from different parts of town (or country, or even the world!), just by using a video call to guide an actor around the room.
A PC or a tablet with an internet connection and an app like Zoom are all we need to play together!

The Earl’s Will
South of England.
Benolt Manor, Earl Ferdinand’s residence, conceals a secret: the Earl’s will is very well hidden. Passionate about wines and old books, the Earl died in mysterious circumstances, leaving behind his title and all of his wealth, properties and land to a single heir -or at least this is what the elderly residents are saying. A lot of greedy close relatives are after the inheritance, and if the will is not found all those assets will be divided between people who do not deserve it. Are you the heir that the Earl’s solicitor has been trying to find for years? Will you be able to find the hidden will? The Earl’s solicitor holds a letter from Earl Ferdinand which is full of clues that will help you in your search for the precious document -but the real help will come from his honest and trusted butler. Tally-ho! Enter the adventure of the Earl’s Will!

Mr. Harrington’s instructions:
Welcome! I am Mr. Harrington, solicitor to the late Earl of Benoltshire, Ferdinand Benolt.
You will guide Leonard, the Earl’s butler, which will act as an Avatar for you all
in the Keeper’s house and will also provide help during the game.
Let me please remind you of the basic rules set by the Earl himself:
the butler can give a maximum of three major hints
he can perform any kind of physical task the players will ask him to, unless it is either pointless for the game and/or dangerous
for his healthhe can give out minor clues in the form of visual suggestions
he cannot give direct solutions to puzzles
In order to play, you’ll just need a computer (or a tablet, or a large smartphone) and an internet connection.
You’ll play in first-person perspective, guiding the Earl’s trusted butler, Leonard, who will help you in your quest for the Will.
